“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6a

(III) REASONS FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

“…Because you have rejected knowledge…” Hosea 4:6b

“…Because you have forgotten the law of Your God…” Hosea 4:6d

“…Because they have ceased obeying the LORD.” Hosea 4:10c

“…because of their sacrifices.” Hosea 4:19b

3. Cessation of obedience

a) Disobedience ( Hosea 4:7-10 )

4. Idolatry

“My people ask counsel from their wooden idols,
And their staff informs them…”

Because their shade is good…”

(IV) A CHALLENGE WE DARE NOT IGNORE

“Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.”
