I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES

(I) A GREAT PERSONAL DECLARATION

“I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Psalm 34:1

b) To offer spontaneous praise to the Lord on his lips

At all times

(II) A GREAT PERSONAL DETERMINATION

1. It takes great determination to be able to fulfil such a declaration

2. Was David able to do this?

3. How was he able to fulfil this determination?

a) He remembered how God heard and answered his prayer ( Psalm 34:4a )

b) He remembered how God delivered him from all his fears ( Psalm 34:4b )

c) He remembered the many lessons he learned about God

(III) A GREAT KNOWLEDGE OF GOD IS ESSENTIAL

1. Precious lessons learned through life’s experiences

2. Powerful life-changing lessons about God

a) God hears and He answers prayer ( Psalm 34:4-6, 17 )

b) God has angels watching over His people ( Psalm 34:7 )

c) God delivers His people ( Psalm 34:4, 7, 19 )

d) God is good ( Psalm 34:8a )

e) God provides for His people who fear Him ( Psalm 34:9-10 )

f) God’s eyes lovingly watch over the righteous ( Psalm 34:15 )

g_ God is near all who are contrite ( Psalm 34:18 )

h) God guards His people ( Psalm 34:20 )

i) God redeems His servants ( Psalm 34:22 )

j) God will never condemn those who trust in Him ( Psalm 34:22 )
