FENDING OFF TEMPTATIONS OF THE WORLD

1. Danger of being drawn to the world

a) Futility of the mind   (Ephesians 4:17)
b) Understanding darkened   (Ephesians 4:18a)
c) Alienated from God   (Ephesians 4:18b)
d) Ignorance   (Ephesians 4:18c)
e) Blindness of the heart   (Ephesians 4:18d)
f) Being past feeling   (Ephesians 4:19a)
g) Given over to lewdness   (Ephesians 4:19b)

2. Danger of returning to the Past

a) Former conduct   (Ephesians 4:22a)
b) The old man that grows corrupt   (Ephesians 4:22b)

3. Determining to put on the New Man

4. The Place of Prayer in spiritual battle

HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND
