YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN BY ME

Text: Isaiah 44

GOD WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER US

How wonderful to read the Scriptures. Our hearts are uplifted through the diligent reading of the Lord’s word.

21 “Remember these, O Jacob,

And Israel, for you are My servant;

I have formed you, you are My servant;

O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!

22 I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,

And like a cloud, your sins.

Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

23 Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it!

Shout, you lower parts of the earth;

Break forth into singing, you mountains,

O forest, and every tree in it!

For the Lord has redeemed Jacob,

And glorified Himself in Israel.     Isaiah 44:21-23

  1. God will never forget us

a) He created and formed us

b) He called us to be His servant

  1. God will forgive

a) Our transgressions

b) Our sins

  1. God has redeemed us

a) There is every reason to rejoice in God

b) God has glorified Himself in carrying out His redemptive plan

APPROPRIATE RESPONSE

  1. Let us draw closer to the Lord
  1. Let us determine to understand the Scriptures better
  1. Let us desire to bring glory to God
