I WILL LOVE THEM FREELY

THE PROFUNDITY OF GOD’S LOVE
The depth of God’s love cannot be measured because it is so profound. Hosea the prophet declared the love of God for a nation that had become idolatrous!
4 “I will heal their backsliding,
I will love them freely,
For My anger has turned away from him.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel;
He shall grow like the lily,
And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.
6 His branches shall spread;
His beauty shall be like an olive tree,
And his fragrance like Lebanon.
7 Those who dwell under his shadow shall return;
They shall be revived like grain,
And grow like a vine.
Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon. Hosea 14:4-7
PROMISED EXPRESSIONS OF GOD’S LOVE
The LORD declared an amazing love for His people in this text:
- Three immediate actions
a) Healing of backsliding
b) God will love freely
c) He will turn away His anger
These are truly profound words of divine love!
- Future blessings promised
a) God would be like the dew to Israel
b) He will help the nation to grow again
c) Growth that God blesses would be outstanding
REJOICING IN GOD AND HIS LOVE
