THE MANIFOLD WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The works of the Holy Spirit are manifold. One of the most profound works of the Spirit of God is what He is doing with reference to the Church.
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22

a) The Lord Jesus is the chief cornerstone
b) There is the contribution of the apostles and prophets
- The building of the Church
a) There are many pieces to fit in together
b There must be constant growth
- The Holy Spirit’s work
a) He is involved heavily in the building of the Church
b) The Church is being built to become the Temple of God
c) The Spirit of God is making the Temple the dwelling place of God
OUR CHALLENGE
Let us seek to comprehend more fully the works of the Holy Spirit.
- He is involved in our Salvation
- He is needed for our Sanctification
- He is also vitally needed in the Spiritual building of the Church, the Temple of God
