I WILL BE WITH YOU

Text: Isaiah 43

IMMANUEL

Immanuel” was the name that the Messiah would be given. This was the name that the LORD Himself had designated for the Saviour.

 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign:

Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.     Isaiah 7:14

REFLECTIVE OF GOD’S OWN COMMITMENT

The name of Immanuel was highly reflective of the LORD God of hosts.

1But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,

And He who formed you, O Israel:

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;

I have called you by your name;

You are Mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,

Nor shall the flame scorch you.     Isaiah 43:1-2
