GIVEN TO THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH

DANIEL’S VISION
The Vision that God gave to Daniel was very profound and complex. The following text offers a glimpse of the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
13 “I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
14 And they brought Him near before Him.
Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:13-14
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him. Daniel 7:27

b) It is a glorious kingdom
c) It is an eternal kingdom
- Given to the saints
a) The kingdom is the same one
b) But there is a powerful additional thought
c) This Kingdom is given to the saints!
A PROFOUND PROMISE
The Lord Jesus Christ spoke these words to His faithful disciples.
28 “But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials.
29 And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me,
30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Luke 22:28-30

- Sitting on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel
These words give us a glimpse of what Daniel’s vision means. There is a future kingdom of which we have a share! Let us stand in awe of the greatness of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ!
