Text: Hebrews 11
16 October 2022

AN OUTSTANDING SERVANT OF GOD

Moses stands out as one of the most outstanding servants of God. The secret of his success may be traced to his faith in God!

24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,

25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,

26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.     Hebrews 11:24-26

CHOOSE TO BUILD A SIGNIFICANT LIFE OF FAITH

Moses chose affliction and reproaches as a consequence of his faith in the Lord. To give up sinful pleasures is not a sacrifice!  It is wisdom in action!

Many have not given up the world because of its many attractions. Hence, their life of faith does not become significant.

Let us choose faith in the Lord. Let us seek to have a significant life of faith!
