A GLORIOUS EXAMPLE

We have a glorious example in the Lord Jesus Christ, with reference to serving the Lord God! This is what the Lord Jesus said about serving.

My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me,

And to finish His work.            John 4:34

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day;

The night is coming when no man can work.        John 9:4

  1. Him who sent Me

a) Jesus was most conscious of being “sent” by His Father

b) He kept that consciousness in His heart and mind

c) This was evident in the way He worked!

  1. While it is day

b) All too soon that “day” would end
