WALK SAFELY IN YOUR WAY

WE LIVE IN A DANGEROUS WORLD
We live in a very troubled and dangerous world. International media highlight the dangers:
1. Natural disasters
a) Floods
b) Earthquakes
2. Man-made disasters
a) Political turmoil
b) War
c) Poverty
3. Many deadly temptations
a) The lure of drugs
b) The addiction to games
c) The coveting of material wealth through gambling
These dangers have taken a severe toll on many nations. Many families are hurt badly and some are totally destroyed. How do we survive in such a hostile world environment?
THE PROMISE OF WISDOM FROM GOD’S WORD
How wonderful it is to have the following promise from the Scriptures.
My son, let them not depart from your eyes-
Keep sound wisdom and discretion;So they will be life to your soul
And grace to your neck.Then you will walk safely in your way,
And your foot will not stumble. Proverbs 3:21-23
1. Wisdom and discretion
a) This is God’s answer as to how we can survive in a difficult world
b) If we seek wisdom and discretion from God and His word, we will find them
2. Blessings
a) Life to our soul
b) Grace that will adorn
c) Safety in our walk in the world
d) We will not need to fear that we will stumble
Let us be challenged to consider cultivating a deep knowledge of God’s word. The wisdom and discretion that God will give us will enable us to walk safely in a very troubled and dangerous world.
