ENOCH WALKED WITH GOD

Text: Genesis 5
11 May 2014

A GLORIOUS EXAMPLE

One of the most wonderful examples of a person who walked intimately with God must be Enoch. The following text gives us a glimpse of his walk with God.

Enoch lived sixty five years, and begot Methuselah.

After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God
Three hundred years, and had sons and daughters.

So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty five years.

And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
Genesis 5:21-24

A CHALLENGE TO CULTIVATE A SIGNIFICANT WALK WITH GOD

Let us be deeply challenged to cultivate a significant walk with the Lord too. What does it take to sustain this walk with God? Three things may be highlighted:-

1. Maturity of faith and life

2. Strength of commitment

3. A genuine and deep love for God
