OH COME, LET US WORSHIP
Text: Psalm 95

OUR ANNIVERSARY WORSHIP TODAY
Today, we celebrate Bethany’s 40+1 Anniversary! Let us take time to ponder why we have not called it our 41st Anniversary! Four reasons may be highlighted:-
1. Because we do not just celebrate another year of ministry
2. Because we see the future with faith in our hearts
3. Because we see and believe that God has called a new generation to arise
4. Because we believe that a new generation (“Plus One Generation”) has arisen and they have caught the vision and the challenge of building Bethany further
HOW SHOULD WE CELEBRATE?
We draw inspiration from the following Biblical text.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:6-7
1. Let us offer worship that exalts the Lord
a) Let us offer humble worship
b) Let us bow before the Lord
2. Let us affirm our faith in God
a) That He is our Maker
b) That He is our God and our Lord
c) That we are His people (the sheep of His hand)
REMEMBERING THE LORD’S GRACE BESTOWED
Today we acknowledge the matchless grace of the Lord bestowed on Bethany! His grace is manifested in many different ways:-
1. Leaders who have given of themselves and their time in serving the Lord faithfully:-
a) As Session Members
b) As Committee Members
c) As SS teachers
d) Behind the Scenes hardworking servants of the Lord
i) Music
ii) Kitchen
iii) AVA
iv) Custodial
v) Car Park
vi) Wall Art
vii) Kindergarten
vii) Printing
viii) Literature
2. Supporters who have contributed so much to the work of the Lord
a) Those who prayed
b) Those who gave
c) Those who brought people to church
Thank God for many more who have contributed faithfully to the growth of the Church for yet another year! May their tribes be blessed!
