WALK IN WISDOM

(I) THE WRATH OF GOD
“Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.” Colossians 3:6-7
The wrath of God revealed against:
Sons of disobedience
Fornication
Uncleanness
Passion
Evil desire
Covetousness
The result of our past lives
The anger of God
His wrath is against us
(II) WALK IN WISDOM
“Walk in wisdom…” Colossians 4:5
1. The mark of our new life
2. A changed in the way we walk
a) Wisdom as opposed to disobedience
b) Wisdom as opposed to lust of the flesh
3. A testimony to those who are outside
“Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside…” Colossians 4:5
a) The way we live our lives will affect others
b) The way we walk will be a testimony to others
(III) Redeeming The Time
“Redeeming the time.” Colossians 4:5
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16
1. The concept of redeeming the time
a) Redeeming the time that has been wasted in past life
b) Walking in wisdom to redeem what was lost
c) The days are evil
d) The coming days will not be easy
e) The coming days will be difficult to live
f) The only way to live is to walk in wisdom
