“When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Psalm 63:6

(III) THE RESULTS OF SUSTAINED URGENCY IN SEEKING THE LORD

1. Sense of safety

“Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.” Psalm 63:7

 

“Your right hands hand upholds me.” Psalm 63:8

2. Sense of joy

a) Joy in appreciating God’s lovingkindness

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life” Psalm 63:3

b) Joy in the soul being specially fed

“My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness…” Psalm 63:5

c) Joy in the Lord and His help

“Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.” Psalm 63:7

 

“But the king shall rejoice in God.” Psalm 63:11
