(I) THE PROFOUND SCRIPTURES
1. Some teachings are difficult to comprehend (Proverbs 1:6) (“enigma;” “riddles”)
2. There are many passages that are “hard to understand” (2 Peter 3:16b)
3. Jesus encrypted many teachings of the Kingdom of God into parables (Matthew 13)
4. Paul declared that man in his wisdom can never fully fathom God’s word (1 Corinthians 1:19-21)
(II) SCRIPTURES FOR CHILDREN
1. Special regard for Children
a) Following Jesus’ regard for Children ( Mark 10:14-15; Mathew 18:3 )
i) Genuine love for Children
ii) Jesus ministered to Children (albeit briefly)
iii) Jesus’ example of ministering to Children to be borne in mind
