(I) THE PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF GOD’S CONSTANT BLESSINGS WHEN ONE TRUSTS IN HIM

1. Personal experience of God always hearing prayers (Psalm 34:4)

a) Seeking of God in times of fears

b) Testifying that God hears his prayers

c) Resulting in God’s constant blessing of deliverance from every fear

2. Personal commitment to praise the Lord

a) Perpetually praising the Lord ( Psalm 34:1 )

b) Verbally praising the Lord ( Psalm 34:1 )

c) Soul-felt boasting in the Lord ( Psalm 34:2 )

(II) THE STRENGTHENING OF TESTIMONY WITH THOSE OF OTHERS WHO TRUST IN GOD

The Psalmist sought to add more “ammo” to his testimony.

1. Seeing the collective testimonies of others

a) The experience of others ( Psalm 34:5 )

b) The experience of the poor man ( Psalm 34:6 )

c) The experience of all who fear Him ( Psalm 34:7 )

2. Consistency of testimony

a) All trusted in God

b) All were blessed

c) God and His angels delivered them

d) Ascertaining of truth principles

(III) THE EXHORTATION TO TRUST IN GOD

1. To different groups of people

a) Non-believers ( Psalm 34:8 )

b) Believers ( Psalms 34:9 )

c) Young people ( Psalm 34:11 )

2. Truth principles to impart

a) God is good to those who fear Him ( Psalm 34:8,9,10, 11-14 )

b) God delivers the righteous from his many afflictions ( Psalm 34:19 )

c) God is near to those who are of a broken heart and contrite spirit ( Psalm 34:18 )

d) God redeems the soul of His servant ( Psalm 34:22 )

3. The challenge to have a deeper trust in God

“Blessed is the man who trust in Him” Psalm 34:8

“None of them who trust in Him shall be condemned.” Psalm 34:22
