1. Faith in the Lord Jesus (Colossians 1:4)

2. Love for all the saint (Colossians 1:4)

3. Hope laid up in heaven (Colossians 1:5)

4. Word of truth in the Gospel (Colossians 1:5)

5. Fruitful living (Colossians 1:6)

6. Knowing the grace of God in truth (Colossians 1:6)

(II) POST-SALVATION CHALLENGES

1. Prayer (Colossians 1:9)

2. Filled with knowledge of God’s will

a) In wisdom

b) Spiritual understanding ( Colossians 1:9 )

3. Walking worthy of the Lord (Colossians 1:10)

a) Fully pleasing Him ( Colossians 1:10 )

b) Fruitful in every good work ( Colossians 1:10 )

c) Increasing in knowledge of God ( Colossians 1:10 )

4. Spiritual strength

a) Strengthened with all might according to God’s power ( Colossians 1:11a )

b) Perseverance

c) Long-suffering

d) Joy

a) To fulfil the word of God ( Colossians 1:25 )
