Day 33

"The LORD rebuke you, Satan!"

Text: Zechariah 3:2

THE SILENCE OF JOSHUA THE HIGH PRIEST

The vision did not show Joshua fulfilling any role at all. He was portrayed as just standing before the throne of God.

THE DEFENCE OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD

The Angel of the LORD came to the defence of Joshua the high priest!

“And the LORD said to Satan,
‘The LORD rebuke you, Satan!
The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you!
Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?'”
