THE SPIRIT OF GOD
1. There was an important prophecy about the Messiah.
2. God would give to Him the fulness of the Holy Spirit.
3. This is prophesied in Isaiah 11:2.
The Lord Jesus is the only One who has this fulness!
a. The Spirit of the LORD will rest upon Him (abide).
b. The Spirit of wisdom
c. And understanding
d. The Spirit of counsel
e. And might
f. The Spirit of knowledge
g. And of the fear (reverence. of the LORD
AFTER THE TEMPTATIONS IN THE WILDERNESS
1. The Lord Jesus began His public ministry.
2. He is well-described as having “the power of the Spirit” (Luke 4:14).
NEWS OF THE LORD JESUS
1. He ministered in Galilee.
2. This was also to fulfil a prophecy.
a. This was noted in Matthew 4:14-16.
b. This prophecy is found in Isaiah 9:1-2.
3. Galilee was a region of great need:
a. Many were sitting in darkness.
b. The Lord Jesus came and brought light.
4. The surrounding region heard about Him.
5. They heard the Lord Jesus preaching.
6. They glorified (praised. God as they listened to the Lord Jesus and His teachings.

上帝的圣灵
