Text: Luke 24: 36-39
THE PROBLEM OF UNBELIEF
1. To have unbelief is to lack faith.
2. The disciples had to struggle with the problem of unbelief year after year!
They were still struggling with believing that the Lord Jesus had indeed risen from the dead!
DEALING WITH THIS DEEP PROBLEM
“Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, ‘Peace to you.’ But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, ‘Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.’”
Luke 24:36-39
1. The Lord Jesus had to make special appearances to His Disciples before they could deal with the problem of unbelief effectively.
2. He appeared to the 2 Disciples on their journey to Emmaus.
3. He now appears to them again, even as the 2 Disciples completed their sharing of how the Lord Jesus had appeared to them.
THE LORD JESUS AMIDST THE DISCIPLES
1. He greeted them warmly.
“Peace to you.” Luke 24:36
2. Their reaction:
a. They were terrified and frightened.
b. They thought they had just seen a spirit (a ghost)!
c. Why did they even have such thoughts?
3. Addressing the problem candidly.
a. “Why are you troubled?”
b. Why were they troubled? Even if it had been a spirit?
c. “And why do doubts arise in your hearts?”
d. Doubts had hindered their faith!
4. Allaying their fears.
a. “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself.”
i. The Disciples may examine the imprints on the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus.
ii. They must know and believe that this was their Risen Saviour.
b. “Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”
i. He was not a spirit.
ii. They may touch the Lord Jesus to know that He was flesh and bones!
5. Our Challenge today.
a. We also struggle with:
i. Doubts
ii. Fears
iii. Unbelief
b. We need to deal with the problem of unbelief too.
c. We need to have a deep and strong faith, rather than one riddled with doubts.

信不足的问题
1. 信不足的问题来自缺乏信心
2. 这些门徒每年都与信不足的问题挣扎！他们还无法完全地相信主耶稣确实死里复活！
对付这深层的问题
正说这话的时候，耶稣亲自站在他们当中，说：“愿你们平安！” 他们却惊慌害怕，以为所看见的是魂。 耶稣说：“你们为什么愁烦？为什么心里起疑念呢？ 你们看我的手、我的脚，就知道实在是我了。摸我看看！魂无骨无肉，你们看，我是有的。”

1. 主耶稣必须特别向门徒们显现自己，让他们能够有效的对付这个问题
2. 祂在两位门徒在以马忤斯的路上显现
3. 正当两位门徒分享完他们的经历，祂又向他们现身
主耶稣在门徒之中
1. 祂热情的向他们问候
“愿你们平安”《路加福音 24：36》
2. 他们的反应：
a. 他们惊慌害怕
b. 他们以为自己看见的是魂（鬼）！
c. 他们怎么会有这样的思想？
3. 坦诚地对付这问题
a. “你们为什么愁烦？”
b. 为什么他们愁烦？即使这是魂魄？
c. “为什么心里起疑念呢？”
d. 疑念阻挡了他们的信心
4. 安抚他们的恐惧
a. “你们看我的手、我的脚，就知道实在是我了”
i. 门徒们能够验证主耶稣手脚上的印记
ii. 他们必须知道并且相信这是他们复活的救赎主
b. “摸我看看！魂无骨无肉，你们看，我是有的”
i. 祂并不是魂
ii. 他们能够触摸主耶稣，他是有骨有肉的！
5. 我们今天的挑战
a. 我们也有许多挣扎
i. 疑念
ii. 惧怕
iii. 信不足
b. 我们也必须对付信不足的问题
c. 我们要有一个坚决，深切的信心，而不是富有疑念的心
