Text: Exodus 39: 22-31
MEDITATION
Exodus 39:22-31
22 He made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
23 And there was an opening in the middle of the robe, like the opening in a coat of mail, with a woven binding all around the opening, so that it would not tear.
24 They made on the hem of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet, and of fine woven linen.
25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe all around between the pomegranates:
26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the hem of the robe to minister in, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
27 They made tunics, artistically woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons, 28 a turban of fine linen, exquisite hats of fine linen, short trousers of fine woven linen, 29 and a sash of fine woven linen with blue, purple, and scarlet thread, made by a weaver, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
30 Then they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription like the engraving of a signet:
HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
31 And they tied to it a blue cord, to fasten it above on the turban, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. Accessories I
a. The hem of the robe had pomegranates
These were made of “blue, purple, and scarlet, and of fine woven linen”
b. Bells of pure gold
They were placed between the pomegranates
c. Design: Bell and pomegranate, bell and pomegranate
d. They were placed all around the hem of the robe
2. Tunics
a. They were made for:
i. Aaron
ii. His sons, the priests
b. They were made of fine linen
3. Accessories II
a. A turban of fine linen
b. Exquisite hats
c. Short trousers of fine woven linen
d. A sash of fine woven linen
e. The plate of the holy crown with the words:
“Holiness to the LORD” Exodus 39:30
f. This was to be tied to the turban
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ACCESSORIES
1. To complete the priestly garments
2. To bring the following lessons across:
a. The dignity of the priestly ministry
b. The glory of the high priesthood
c. The holiness of the sacred ministry that was entrusted to the priests

《出埃及记 39:22-31》
22他用织工做以弗得的外袍，颜色全是蓝的。
23袍上留一领口，口的周围织出领边来，仿佛铠甲的领口，免得破裂。
24 在袍子底边上，用蓝色、紫色、朱红色线并捻的细麻做石榴。
25又用精金做铃铛，把铃铛钉在袍子周围底边上的石榴中间：

27他用织成的细麻布为亚伦和他的儿子做内袍，

29又用蓝色、紫色、朱红色线并捻的细麻，以绣花的手工做腰带，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。
30他用精金做圣冠上的牌，在上面按刻图书之法，刻着：归耶和华为圣。31又用一条蓝细带子将牌系在冠冕上，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。
