Text: Exodus 26:35-37
MEDITATION
Exodus 26:35-37
35 You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.
36 “You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver.
37 And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. In the Most Holy Place
a. The ark of the Testimony with the Mercy Seat placed on top of it.
b. There was no other object inside the Most Holy Place.
c. Entrance into the Most Holy Place:
i. Forbidden to the worshipper.
ii. Forbidden to the priests.
d. Exception:
i. The High Priest may enter the Most Holy Place.
ii. He can enter only on the Day of Atonement.
2. In the Holy Place
a. The Golden Lampstand (Exodus 25:31-40)
b. The Table for the Showbread (Exodus 25:23-30)
c. These are to be cared for by the priests.
3. The Screen for the door of the Tabernacle
a. Fine woven linen
b. Blue, purple, and scarlet thread
c. To be made by a weaver.
4. The structure of the Screen door
a. Five pillars of acacia wood.
b. To be overlaid with gold.
c. Hooks to be made of gold.
d. Sockets to be made of silver.
5. Vital Lessons
a. The Person of God must not be taken for granted.
b. He must be held in awe and reverence (“The fear of the LORD”).
c. Worship is to be appreciated as a special privilege.

35 把桌子安在幔子外帐幕的北面，把灯台安在帐幕的南面，彼此相对。
36 “你要拿蓝色、紫色、朱红色线和捻的细麻，用绣花的手工织帐幕的门帘。37 要用皂荚木为帘子做五根柱子，用金子包裹，柱子上当有金钩，又要为柱子用铜铸造五个带卯的座。
