"As the elect of God..."

Text: Colossians 3:12

AS PEOPLE BELONGING TO GOD

What does it mean to belong to God as His people? What would characterise His people if it is neither ethnicity nor religious traditions? Paul offers the following thought.

“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on
tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.”
