"Therefore put to death..."

Text: Colossians 3:5

THE THINGS THAT HINDER

It would be wonderful to have hearts and minds that are well focused on things above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. However, the reality of life is that few are dwelling on spiritual and eternal matters. Paul wrote candid about how we ought to deal with the things that hinder us in our spiritual growth.

“Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth:
fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness,
which is idolatry.”
