"Abound more and more..."
Text: 1 Thessalonians 4:1
THE LIFE THAT JESUS PROMISED
The Lord Jesus preached a glorious message of life! The following aspects may be highlighted:-
1. It would be a new life. It starts with being born again (John 3:3).
2. It would be eternal life. The new life we have would last for eternity (John 3:16).
3. It would also be an abundant life (John 10:10).
ENCOURAGEMENT TO PURSUE THE ABUNDANT LIFE
Paul and Silas urged and exhorted the Thessalonians to pursue an abundant life.
“Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus
that you should abound more and more, just as you
received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.”
