(I) THE NINTH PLAGUE

1. Darkness so thick that it may even be felt (Exodus 10:21)

2. Three days of darkness in Egypt (Exodus 10:22)

(II) LIGHT IN THE LAND OF GOSHEN

1. No darkness there

2. Light in Goshen (Exodus 10:23)

 

(III) PHARAOH SUMMONS MOSES

His word to Moses:

1. Go, serve the LORD

2. The little ones also go with you

3. Herds and flocks to be kept back (Exodus 10:24)

 

(IV) MOSES’ REPLY

1. The herds and flocks must go to

2. These are to be offered to the Lord as sacrifice (Exodus 10:25)

3. Herds and cattle must go with the children of Israel (Exodus 10:26)

 

(V) THE HARDENING OF THE PHARAOH’S HEART

1. It was already hardened

2. God hardened it (Exodus 10:27)

 

(VI) PHAROAH’S THREATENING WORDS

1. Get away from me

2. Take heed to yourself and see my face no more!

3. In the day you see my face you shall die (Exodus 10:28)

 

(VII) MOSES’ RESPONSE

1. You have spoken well

2. I will never see your face again (Exodus 10:29)
