TRUST IN THE LORD
A Great Call to trust the Lord was issued;
To trust God fully, Israel had not pursued.
Thus, the nation suffered greatly;
The Call was to cry out to God urgently.
The Great Call was issued to the priests;
They had not always been faithful, to say the least.
The House of Aaron must set a good example
To exercise Trust in God was a basic principle.
The Great Call was also given to the God-fearers;
They must know that faith in God is truly precious.
They must continue to exercise Trust in God;
They must learn how to be faithful to the Lord!
The Lord is our present Help and Shield;
To evil temptations we must not yield.
Our trust in the Lord would not be in vain.
No one who trusts in God would be ashamed!
