Day 421

"And have mercy on the whole house of Israel"

Text: Ezekiel 39:25

THE MERCY OF GOD

God declared that He would severely punish Gog and his many allies for their wickedness. On the other hand, He also determined that He would show great mercy to Israel. Mercy would not just be a concept. It would be expressed in significant deeds.

“Therefore thus says the Lord God:
‘Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob,
and have mercy on the whole house of Israel;
and I will be jealous for My holy name—
after they have borne their shame,
and all their unfaithfulness
in which they were unfaithful to Me,
when they dwelt safely in their own land
and no one made them afraid.'”
