12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

THE SIXTH BOWL OF WRATH

1. This was poured out on the River Euphrates

2. The River dried up

a) This River was a natural barrier between the East and the West

b) The Romans saw the River as a great defence from the East

c) But once the River has dried up, the kings of the East can attack the West

i) The West would be a possible reference to Europe

ii) The East would be a possible reference to India, China, Japan

3. Three unclean spirits emerged

a) Out of the mouth of the dragon

b) Out of the mouth of the beast

c) Out of the mouth of the false prophet

4. Identification

a) They are the spirits of demons

b) They can perform signs

c) They will gather a great army to fight with God

5. The battle of Armageddon

a) They will battle God and His army

b) This battle is called “Armageddon”
