HE IS THE LORD OUR GOD
The Psalmist made a personal declaration;
That the Lord was His God was his exultation.
He recalled how God gave a gift to Abraham;
This was the gift of an everlasting Covenant.
The land of Canaan would be his inheritance;
Faith in the Lord’s promise is of importance.
Abraham believed in the Lord;
He was justified by the grace of God.
God will always remember His covenant;
He will fulfil all its purposes and intent.
How wonderful to have such a faith in God;
There is every reason to rejoice in the Lord.
We have a New Covenant given to us;
It was confirmed by the Lord Jesus.
He shed His blood to seal the Covenant;
May we seek to be faithful and consistent!
