YOU HAVE ARMED ME WITH STRENGTH
Weakness can cause much confusion to the heart and mind;
To the extent, that one may be in a terrible and fearful bind.
Plans and strategies seem weak and fragile;
Every thought and effort seems to be futile.
But weaknesses can be overcome when we pray;
God can send much-needed help along the way.
A new sense of strength and energy is found;
And God’s power will His servant surround.
The battles come inevitably, but there is now hope;
The strength that God gives will enable one to cope.
There is energy and strength that is given by God;
There is new confidence found in the LORD!
The enemies are routed to their astonishment;
The smaller army has inflicted great punishment!
With the strength of God given in answer to prayer;
Great is the victory, for the LORD Himself is there!
