THE LORD PITIES THOSE WHO FEAR HIM
Man is sometimes caught up with personal glory;
He often forgets that he suffers from fragility.
The reality of life must remind Man, that he is but “dust;”
How he must understand God and in Him, put his trust!
The success of life sometimes goes to the head;
It replaces faith and trust in God instead.
In trouble, Man is reminded of his frailty;
Illness and death remind him of life’s brevity.
Man is truly well-compared to the humble grass;
Like the flowers of the field, Man does not last;
In humility, the fear of God must be learned;
And then he would have grace shown from heaven.
God would show compassion to those who fear Him;
He knows, and remembers, Man’s weaknesses within.
He would extend His matchless grace and mercy;
He offers to Man, through faith in Christ, Eternity!
