MADE A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS

When God made Man, He gave him glory;

Man bore His image, he was given authority.

But Man fell to temptation and became a sinner;

He was now badly in need of a great Redeemer.

Then God sent another Man, to be the Messiah;

He would have to undergo suffering to be the Saviour.

He would have to battle Sin and Satan to His last breath;

He would be the Captain of our salvation, at His death.

Jesus came to fulfil God’s plan of salvation;

He became Man and had to suffer humiliation.

But He bore every hurt and pain hurled at Him;

He was determined to save Man from ruin.

The Messiah prophesied was none other than Jesus;

He was much more than the Teacher of righteousness.

He was crowned with glory and honour on His victory;

How we must ever praise our Saviour joyously!
