LET THE LORD BE MAGNIFIED
Thank God for friends who are good and true;
They will rejoice when God prospers you!
They will not be envious nor ever be petty;
They will stand by you most faithfully.
Thank God for friends who share the same cause;
They too will seek to magnify His name, of course!
Such friends may not be too many in life;
But they will stand with you amidst strife.
Our hearts must be lifted up in praise;
Good friends are given by God’s grace.
May our hearts ever be grateful for true friends!
May we always, to the LORD, give heartfelt thanks!
In life, there will always be adversaries;
They teach us to always live righteously.
May our hearts be challenged to magnify the LORD!
He will hear and vindicate us, as we serve our God!
