HIDE ME UNDER THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS
There are dangers out there that may not be obvious;
Enemies can hide their schemes, for they are devious.
Wickedness will never cease in the land;
But we can learn to trust in God’s hand.
The LORD will look at us with deep affection;
He will ever extend to us His loving compassion.
We may be sure that under His mighty wings,
We will find complete security from deadly sins.
The LORD will show us His lovingkindness;
He will not fail us for He is altogether righteous.
He has given to us a glorious Covenant;
To place full trust in God is important.
There is no greater protection we can find;
We need not fear and constantly look behind.
The LORD will hide us even as we pray;
He will keep us in His care all the way!
