GREAT IS HIS MERCY TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM
Much is to be learned about God’s great mercy;
His mercy is to be understood very carefully.
Truth and righteousness must be borne in mind;
The mercy of the Lord is certainly not blind.
Man cannot indulge in sin, refusing to confess;
And then demand that God must continue to bless!
Sin must be dealt with strongly and summarily;
Thank God we may fall back on His great mercy.
God would do more than forgive our sins;
He would cleanse us from deep within.
He would also remove our sins far away;
So that sin would not continue to cause dismay.
God’s great and wondrous mercy is truly indescribable;
Even as the distance from the heavens to earth is immeasurable.
The challenge is to learn how to truly practise the Fear of God;
We must seek to walk humbly and gratefully with the LORD!
