EVENING AND MORNING AND AT NOON
There are times when we feel wounded in our Soul;
How we long that we could be made completely whole.
There are many feelings that we need to comprehend;
How we wish that God would reveal His mighty hand.
Prayer is the Soul’s way of seeking peace;
The outpouring of the heart brings release.
Prayers are offered to God in desperation;
The Soul seeks much-needed consolation.
The evening comes and prayer is offered;
Calling on the Lord is so badly needed!
Morning sees the Soul seeking God’s face;
There is such a need for mercy and grace.
The Soul continues to reach out to God;
At noon, the Soul cries out to the LORD.
In His grace God answers our prayers;
He reminds us that He always cares!
