BLESSED BE THE LORD
If someone were to ask you why you offer praise,
Would you be able to speak of more than God’s grace?
The Lord’s hand of blessing is so wonderfully clear;
Surely we can tell people that the Lord is dear!
He has heard our prayers and our supplications;
He has given us His great strength in tribulation.
He has protected us with His mighty shield;
To wicked enemies, He will never yield.
The LORD will always be there for His people;
He will deliver them out of all their trouble.
He is a saving refuge to all who trust;
Praise is to be given to God all glorious!
The LORD is truly our Great Shepherd;
The bleating of His sheep He has heard.
He will bear the lambs in His loving arms;
He will keep His flock safe from all alarms!
