The Mighty One, God The Lord

Our worship is affected directly by our view of the Lord.

Sometimes we do not realise we have a wrong view of God.

If we have a diminished view we will not be able to worship well,

We go through the motions, but whether God is pleased we cannot tell.

We need a dynamic view of who God really is, this is critical,

He is “The Mighty One, God the Lord,” this knowledge is vital!

He is not a Powerful Being far away, uninvolved and uninterested,

He is “The Mighty One, God the LORD,” who draws near Invited!

He comes to His people and He does not keep silent,

He speaks with majesty, with power omnipotent!

He says, “Gather My saints together to Me,”

How awed we must be as we ponder this reality!”

God comes as the Divine Judge as His people gather together,

All must tremble before Him, for the LORD is like no other!

How we need to address the problem of our defective view of God!

Till then our worship may not be accepted by “God the LORD!”
