#5 WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS FROM THE LORD
Isaiah learned just how difficult it was to serve God;
King Ahaz rejected every message from the LORD!
But he found some who would be disciples in ministry;
His family would stand by him and support faithfully.
All would have to learn how to “wait on the LORD;”
No one could be hurried to truly repent before God.
Each piece of work would require faith and patience;
There must be great strength and steadfast resilience.
The lesson of exercising hope in God must be mastered;
The effectiveness of serving well is not easily measured.
There must also be patience of soul in serving the Lord;
These are lessons to be learned by every servant of God.
True servants are indeed “signs and wonders” from the LORD;
Their lives bear important testimony of the reality of God.
The challenge to all servants of God is to serve with dignity;
By the grace of God we can serve the Lord most faithfully.
