#10 THE PATH OF THE JUST IS LIKE THE SHINING SUN
The Light that God gives to the Just is well-described;
This promise brings great encouragement and delight!
The Lord will give Light like the bright and shining sun;
That Light will be there till the work in the day is done!
The Light may begin gently as the sun awakens the dawn;
It continues strongly till it shines brightly, all gloom is gone!
What a beautiful picture of the Light that God promises;
The Just is challenged to build his life based on this premise!
The contrast to the wicked is startling and truly grim;
The ungodly wicked will have darkness because of sin!
The way of Darkness is dangerous and many will stumble;
How one must forsake arrogance and choose to be humble!
The choice between Light and Darkness is so very clear;
Wisdom teaches us to choose Light and God who is near!
With God leading with His glorious light, we can rejoice;
May we always be wise enough to make the right choice!
