WALKING IN THIS JOURNEY OF FAITH

Sometimes I get discouraged,

And a tear comes to my eyes.

Sometimes, life doesn’t seem fair,

And I can’t understand why.

Sometimes I want to give up,

When things aren’t going right.

Sometimes it seems like a waste of time,

Not really worth the fight.

Sometimes my hope fades,

And my dream dies,

But I find no answer

By asking why.

Then I remember what the LORD has said,

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than the earth,

So are my ways higher than your ways,

And my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

And so when life seems unfair, more than I can take,

I look up to the Father- or He never makes mistakes.

I just keep trusting Him and hang on to my little faith.

Should the storms come and I find no solution,

I rest in God’s grace.

I will try to keep and grow in my faith in God,

Strong as a rock,

And not to make fun of gossip, or mock;

To run away from that awful dark sin,

That is tempting me to do bad within;

To keep His commandments faithfully,

And to share my faith with all who do not see.

To not give in to Satan’s evil deeds

But to love and care for people who have needs;

But most of all to love the Lord with all my heart

To stay faithful to Him and never depart.
