AMAZING LOVE
I wanted to please them, I wanted their love.
I never knew that all I needed was the Father above.
He doesn’t expect perfection or someone free from sin,
All He ever wanted was for us to let Him in
He’ll fix the broken pieces bit by bit,
And even help us rebuild our house with solid brick.
He’ll be there by our side each step of the way,
And draw us back again when our faith sways.
He’ll cleanse our sins too and all will be forgiven,
And by faith, we will have a strong foundation,
That will never sway in times of trouble,
And gives us strength so we won’t crumble.
Now all I want is for the Lord to work in me.
His amazing love has always been open to the unworthy.
What a great gift to have, yet so small to the Lord.
His power and grace unmeasurable, Glory to God!
