TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD
(A Holy Communion Poem)
To be loved by God is one of life’s great blessing!
We must never treat His love as a common thing.
The love that God gives is pure and wonderful;
Life becomes even more glorious and beautiful!
God in His love gives a precious and loving Call;
He seeks to enlighten our hearts as He reveals all.
He teaches His beloved how to understand time;
His plan is slowly unfolded and it is truly sublime!
God assures His beloved that He has a divine purpose;
The problems and trials of life are not a divine curse.
He will teach His beloved till they fully comprehend;
Behind every work of His there is a very deep plan.
Those who love God will learn to trust in Him fully;
They will come to know that He always leads unerringly.
The heart becomes assured that all things work for good;
The Lord’s Divine Purpose need never be misunderstood.
