CALLED OUT OF DARKNESS
We cannot but remember that once we walked in darkness;
We could not see our way and the thought of eternity brought sadness.
There was no light at all to bring cheer along life’s pathway;
The heart felt so dry and dreary each and every day.
Then came the Call of God that brought Light to the heart;
Enlightenment came and the Lord bade darkness depart!
The fear of darkness was banished and great joy came;
Life would now never be quite the same!
With the Call to Salvation many truths were discovered;
God has given great blessings that must be treasured!
We are now called “the chosen generation” and “a royal priesthood;”
These are deep and profound words that must be fully understood!
We who are “Called” must seek to offer great praise to His name;
To keep silent after all that God has done, would be a shame!
Let us seek to walk in the marvellous light that God has given;
Let us seek to fulfil our great Calling from the Lord in Heaven!
