SERVING WITH A LOYAL HEART AND MIND
Serving the Lord is a wonderful privilege given;
Imagine being called to serve the God of Heaven!
The heart and mind must be thrilled and humbled;
At no time in serving God must we ever grumble!
The God whom we serve deserves our very best;
He has been good and gracious in His kindness.
He has blessed with all the good things of life;
We must honour Him by serving without strife.
What then would God be looking for in a person?
A loyal heart and mind must be found in a servant.
The Lord will know what we actually feel or think;
We must remember that we serve a glorious King!
The good servant of the Lord will always seek His face;
He desires to keep growing his knowledge of God’s grace.
And when he has proven himself to be good and true;
The Lord will bless to the utmost through and through.
