THE CALL OF MOSES

1. The burning bush Experience   (Exodus 3:1-3)

a) A bush on fire
b) But the bush remained intact

2. The First Encounter with God   (Exodus 3:4-9)

a) Introduction of the Lord as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
b) Identification with the children of Israel in Egypt
c) Intent of delivering Israel from Egypt shared
d) Impossible task?

3. The Mission of Moses   (Exodus 3:10)

a) I will send you to Pharaoh
b) That you may bring My people out of Egypt
c) Impossible dream?

THE STRUGGLE WITH UNBELIEF

1. Expressed in the form of questions

a) Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?   (Exodus 3:11a)
b) And that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?   (Exodus 3:11b)

2. Unbelief and how it hinders

b) This is My memorial name
