CAUSES GROWTH OF THE BODY

God has planned for the Church most carefully;

Every detail is looked into providentially.

Growth is what God desires for the Church;

Spiritual maturity will then steadily emerge.

Instruction came from prophets and apostles;

Precious are their insightful epistles.

God has also provided evangelists;

Pastors-teachers are also on God’s list.

Members who are instructed can now edify;

If to the Lord’s word their hearts would apply.

Every joint is able to contribute meaningfully;

The Church becomes strong as it finds maturity.

Growth of the Body of Christ involves everyone;

There is much work that still needs to be done.

Our hearts must be challenged to do our part;

Let us seek wisdom that God alone can impart!
