AND GAVE GIFTS TO MEN
The Lord Jesus came to be our Saviour;
There are many blessings to savour.
The Lord overcame Sin and Satan;
This is a truth that we need to learn.
In a great battle on the cross of Calvary;
The Lord Jesus won a great victory.
He was able to overcome Death as well;
We need never fear the torment of Hell.
He also gave gifts to His followers;
He imparts blessings to all believers.
The Lord determines the Gifts to be given;
Every Gift is to be carefully discerned.
The Gifts are to be developed accordingly;
They are meant to redound to God’s glory.
Our challenge is to use our Gifts as God planned;
May we ever desire to be used by God’s hand!
